MLB's philosophy for developing a coach follows the belief of hands on participation, classroom presentations and round table discussions. In this 3 day class, each coach will experience the 6 absolutes of a hitter, proper hitting drills and the mental side of hitting. Coaches will learn to to teach and master these three key aspects of a successful hitting coach. There will also be a "real-life" evaluation as each attendee will be
asked to critique a hitter taking batting practice while the MLB
Coaching Staff observes.

If you would like to bring instant coaching credibility to your Academy or Team, MLB is here for you. MLB's will train certify your academy or team with all it has to offer. You will receive training on teaching the 6 absolutes of a professional hitter, how to teach hitting drills and how to do this with any age level of player. Once the course has been completed, MLB will certify your facility or staff. This will allow you to become an MLB affiliate. Affiliation lasts two years.
